Weird New Jersey Bike and Hike: The Stone Living Room Edition.
It’s time for another Weird New Jersey adventure. This will be a “Bike and Hike”.
Our destination will be “The Stone Living Room” located in the Norvin Green State Forest.
This ride will start and finish at the High Point Brewery.
We will meet up in front of the brewery at 11:00am and leave at 11:15.
Ride stats: This no-drop ride will be approx. 9-miles round trip. The first half will be mostly an uphill battle. Bring a lock for your bike and good shoes for the hiking trail.
The hike will be approx. one mile uphill trek to the destination.
As usual, I’ll be bringing my camera. The views are spectacular! I will also be bringing a small plastic garbage bag to pick up litter in the area. My wife will offer a short yoga session at the viewpoint.
What goes up must come down. The return trip is all downhill back to the brewery. After the ride, those 21 and over can join me for a pint of some of the best beer around.
