National Trails Day Ride at Loantaka Brook

Douglas V is leading a ride from the Morristown Green to Loantaka Brook Reservation on June 6th, meet up at 8:30am at the fountain on the Green to ride out together to Loantaka. Here’s the details on the event from Douglas/Morris County Parks:

June 6th join the National Trails Day events at MCPC’s Loantaka Brook Reservation for a hike or bike ride to celebrate the opening of an addition to LBR acquired by Chatham Township and MCPC from Giralda Farms on Woodland Road.
Location: MCPC Loantaka Brook Reservation, Kitchell Road entrance in Morristownship

Date/Time: Saturday, June 6 at 9AM

Route: Hikers will start at 9AM on a 3 mile (+ or -) trek from Kitchell parking area over to the new acquisition on Woodland and back.

Bikers will start off at 9:15 AM (or abouts) and tour the park, ending at the Woodland area in time for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
